Princess joined ReadyCT in 2022 as a college intern and was then brought on as a contractor to support the ReadyCT Student 5.0 program. Today, as a career launch coordinator, she is part of the ReadyCT team working with high school seniors planning to transition from high school to Connecticut’s higher education and/or professional workforce sectors.
Princess has experience in network marketing, introducing people to financial literacy education. In addition, she has strong client recruitment skills and experience teaching the importance of creating and maintaining financial wealth.
Before ReadyCT, Princess was part of a nonprofit organization where she was that organization’s first junior coordinator. That experience helped her to develop leadership skills – and a passion for influencing change – while helping youth envision opportunities for themselves in the STEM field as well as entrepreneurship.
Princess holds a B.A. in interdisciplinary studies with concentrations in business administration and music from Southern Connecticut State University. She lives with her family and cat in Waterbury, CT. Outside of ReadyCT, Princess enjoys performing vocally, hiking, and discovering new and exciting destinations.
“I pride myself in my continued commitment to the personal development of myself and others, as I see that the only way to improve the world is for one to first improve self. ReadyCT provides opportunities for youth to see themselves in spaces their environment did not allow them to access. With that, students can begin to influence positive changes in their lives and communities.”
