Michele Walworth

Career Pathway Program Manager


Michele joins ReadyCT with 15 years of experience in public education includes roles as an oral fluency volunteer to a substitute teacher in every grade (pre-K-12, Griswold Public Schools). She also served as an enrichment club advisor, helping students create and develop a three-year project culminating in the only student-built September 11th memorial in Connecticut. 

Michele is focused on collaboration with educators and parents to ensure the success of every student. A key focus of her work is to help students gain confidence by supporting their workforce readiness training. She brings deep experience to that work; she previously served as a high school community service coordinator, where she helped students connect to meaningful community involvement while supporting their career skill development, e.g., communication skills, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving skills. She also has experience with mock interviews and resume building. Taken together, Michele brings deep experience and a wealth of energy to students who are crafting their postsecondary plans. 

Michele holds an associate’s degree in computer science and was a former software developer for the United States Navy. During her free time, Michele enjoys playing keyboards and singing in a band, photography, reading, and spending time with her husband, two sons, and spoiled Shih Tzu.
