Kaitlyn joins ReadyCT with experience supporting students in reaching their goals and a passion for hands-on learning. She is eager to jump into the work and advocate for students!

Kaitlyn values individualism and the pursuit of becoming one’s best self. She looks forward to connecting with students and supporting them as they discover their unique path. Her goal is to be a resource for students, provide guidance, and cheer them on as they navigate their educational and career development.

Kaitlyn was born in New Haven, CT, and holds a B.S. in social work from West Chester University. In college, her peers awarded her a “People’s Choice” honor, recognizing her knowledge, engagement in all aspects of learning, and eagerness to aid other students. Among many, Kaitlyn’s efforts to help others include teaching winter guard, active Girl Scouts participation, working as a summer counselor at Horizons, Inc., and leading elementary after-school programs. Her devotion to the support and success of others is the root of Kaitlyn’s identity.

In her free time, Kaitlyn enjoys taking her cat, Everest, with her to play disc golf while listening to music. She enjoys baking, soaking up the sun, and will happily play a board or card game given the chance. She values helping others on all levels – micro, mezzo, and macro – and will encourage them in any way she can.

I know firsthand the anxiety and enormous weight that comes from being asked ‘So what are you going to do next?’ I want to relieve this for students through individualized support, validation, and awareness of all opportunities in their grasp. I want to provide them with the confidence to answer that question.”
