Make An Impact
Jacqueline Wetherell joined the ReadyCT team in February 2023. Prior to that, Jacqueline, known as Jacquie, served in public education for over ten years. Most recently, Jacquie was the career & technical education (CTE) coordinator for RHAM Middle School and RHAM High School. She taught business and computer science to students in grades 8-12 while supporting a team of six other CTE teachers. Additionally, she managed dual enrollment programs with various colleges and universities across eastern Connecticut, and she served as the Perkins administrator and the youth manufacturing pipeline liaison between RHAM High School and the Eastern Workforce Investment Board.
Jacquie has served as a role model for females in computer science education. Also, Jacquie taught at Killingly High School for seven years where she grew her love of teaching and professional collaboration.
Her passion lives in education, college, and career readiness. She looks forward to supporting the goals of ReadyCT and leveraging her experience working with youth and career education. Jacquie holds a master’s degree in teaching from Sacred Heart University, a bachelor’s degree from Central Connecticut State University in management & organization, and an associate’s degree from Three Rivers Community College.
Jacquie resides in Bozrah, CT with her husband and three young children. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, pets, and close friends. Jacquie prefers to stay active to keep up with her kids. You will also find her family supporting local businesses and restaurants.
