Prior to joining ReadyCT, Dan helped to lead a successful university enrollment team for 15 years that focused on recruiting students for career-based degrees in healthcare, manufacturing, and business. Additionally, Dan taught as an adjunct instructor at the university level for over ten years with a focus on communications, business, and first-year experience courses.

Dan’s collective professional experience strongly influenced his decision to work with ReadyCT in furtherance of ReadyCT’s mission, with emphasis on the opportunity his role now has in bringing valuable work-based learning experiences to Connecticut high school students. Dan is also an active volunteer in his hometown of New Britain for neighborhood cleanups, community conversations on racial and social justice, and youth sports.

Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Westfield State University and a master’s degree in education from the University of Saint Joseph.

Dan resides in New Britain with his wife and five children. Outside of work, he enjoys rooting on his favorite New England sports teams, visiting the Rhode Island shore, and spending time with friends.

“Bridging the gap for students between education and career is critical in order to build a foundation for future success in the professional world. I gain a strong sense of purpose by helping students make these connections through meaningful work-based learning experiences.”
