STEM-based careers are not the future. They are the here and now.
That’s why ReadyCT works to provide access and opportunity to coding, computer science, and beyond!
This experience introduces students (and many times, their teachers!) to computational thinking and solving problems through coding.
Details for students, teachers, and parents can be found by visiting the LGCC website here!

Through traditional internships, the G.R.I.T. program, YES Academy offerings, the Lt. Governor’s Computing Challenge, policy efforts — and more! — ReadyCT is focused on elevating the profile of STEM learning and, as importantly, STEM career opportunities.
In fact, Connecticut employers are very eager for young talent . . . and willing to provide excellent opportunities in STEM-based fields like healthcare, engineering/manufacturing, computer science, finance, and beyond.
But students won’t leverage those opportunities until they know about them. Which is where ReadyCT comes in.
