Prior to joining ReadyCT, Ally worked in healthcare and served as an Emergency Nursing Technician for an Emergency Department and an Emergency Medical Technician for an ambulance service. She also worked for the CT Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) as a teaching and administrative substitute, allowing her to have an impact on student’s educational experiences in different ways. After graduating from college, Ally also worked as a mortgage loan officer helping people become homeowners.

All of Ally’s past positions have a similar theme: helping others in any way possible.

Ally holds a bachelor’s degree in Allied Health Sciences from the University of Connecticut. While at UConn she taught CPR classes to fellow students and faculty through a program called Uconn Rescue. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Post University.

Outside of ReadyCT, Ally enjoys working out, spending time with friends, and playing with her two dogs and one cat. She is an avid traveler and will take the opportunity to travel any chance she can!

“It is essential that we are adequately preparing students today to become the workforce of tomorrow. Whatever postsecondary option students choose, it is imperative that they are provided with the necessary tools to succeed.”
